HISTORY

CHATT WONGSINGHA LAW FIRM CO., LTD was established in 1980 under the name of “Chatt Wongsingha Legal Institute”. Under the leadership of Mr. Chatt Wongsingha, the law office’s commitment is “to ensure a legal service with high standard for the general public and accessible for all indigent persons encountering injustice.”

From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Chatt Wongsingha was elected the Chairman of Ubon Ratchathani Province Lawyer Society Subcommittee (two consecutive terms). And from 1998 to 2001, he won a general election among lawyers nationwide and was appointed an executive of Thai Lawyer Society in charge of the Third Region covering lower Northeastern Thailand including Ubon Ratchathani, Det-udom, Sisaket, Kantharalak, Surin, Rattanaburi, Buriram, Nangrong, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buayai, Sikhiew, Chaiyaphum, Phukhiaw, Yasothon and Amnatcharoen. The law office was then responsible for serving and supervising the administration of Ubon Ratchathani Province Lawyer Society and the whole Third Region as provided in the Lawyer Act B.E.2528. One major task is to ensure the efficiency of legal knowledge dissemination and legal service to the general public. The law office is also responsible for providing necessary service for all lawyers and cooperation with justice administrative agencies including the courts, public prosecution offices, investigating officers and many other offices related to the interest and working efficiency of legal practitioners. In the meantime, the law office continued to provide trustworthy legal service to the general public.

In 2005, Mr. Chatt Wongsingha was given a great honor to be a special lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Ubon Ratchathani University. The team of lawyers pooled their efforts to continue the law office’s commitment to provide legal service with high standard and develop into an entity with a higher academic and international standard.

During the past decade, the law office continues to provide legal service with high standard and strictly adhere with the legal professional ethics. Moreover, the law office always welcomes law student trainees and counsel trainees. The main objective is to provide the society with more capable lawyers and thorough understanding of high professional ethic standard. Moreover, the law office wishes to be recognized as “a reliable legal academc source”
